KELSEYVILLE — An allegedly unlicensed Kelseyville man was airlifted to a Santa Rosa hospital after crashing his car on Highway 175 late Wednesday night.
Steven Calogianes was driving a 1995 Mitsubishi westbound on the highway at an unknown speed about 11:15 p.m. when the vehicle left the roadway for unknown reasons and struck a tree near Diamond Dust Trail in Kelseyville, California Highway Patrol (CHP) Officer Kory Reynolds stated.
Calogianes, 20, did not have a valid driver”s license, according to Reynolds. He was transported by REACH air ambulance to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with complaints of ankle and stomach pain.
Passenger David Steele, 20, of Kelseyville was taken by private vehicle to Sutter Lakeside Hospital after complaining of leg pain, Reynolds stated. The crash remains under investigation by CHP Officer Ryan Erickson.
