MIDDLETOWN — Tri-Counties Bank in Middletown was robbed at approximately 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
According to scanner reports, a white man described as heavy set with a beard and wearing a black hoody, dark-framed glasses with clear lenses entered the bank and handed a teller a note and an envelope. No weapon was seen.
The man exited the bank after receiving some “large bills” and drove away in a gold sedan headed toward Highway 175.
Tri-Counties Bank is located at 21097 Calistoga Road in Middletown, across Highway 29 from Hardesters Market.
The robbery follows just eight days after a suspect with a similar description hit the Westamerica Branch in Middletown.
