LAKEPORT — The Lake County Board of Supervisors (BOS) is set to consider requests from supervisors Rob Brown and Anthony Farrington to issue a vote of no confidence for Sheriff Frank Rivero and ask him to resign Tuesday morning.
The sheriff discussion is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. at the Lake County Courthouse.
The supervisors” regular meeting will convene at 9 a.m. inside the BOS Chambers on the first floor of the Lakeport courthouse.
At 9:10 a.m., the BOS will present a proclamation designating Tuesday as National Agriculture Day.
A presentation regarding options to provide Lake County residents with over-the-air public television is set for 9:15 a.m.
The Lake County Child Care Planning Council will share a countywide plan for child care and development services at 9:45 a.m.
Among non-timed items will be a request to close the Middletown Library for the move into the new facility, an agreement with Forensic Medical Group Inc. for forensic pathology services and appointments to a pair of boards.
