WILLITS — The Kelseyville Knights opened their North Central League I junior varsity baseball schedule with a 16-2 victory over the Willits Wolverines on Tuesday in Willits.
Noah Lyndall worked all five innings for the victory, allowing three hits, striking out eight and walking five. He also went 3-for-4.
Helping out Lyndall with their bats were teammates Andrew Vonwal and Brandon Huber, both 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs, and Jafteh Silva, who went 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Austin Schmadeke went 2-for-2.
The Knights, now 2-5 on the season, return to action Tuesday in Cloverdale at 4 p.m.
