ST. HELENA — Christopher Davis allowed just one hit over three innings to record the win and the Middletown Mustangs hammered the St. Helena Saints 12-2 in a North Central League I junior varsity baseball game on Friday in St. Helena.
The contest was called after five innings because of the 10-run rule.
Davis allowed two runs on one hit while striking out four and walking three. He also had a solid day at the plate with three hits. Tyler Holt went 2-for-4 with a double.
Middletown is 3-0 in league play and 7-2 overall.
