KELSEYVILLE — Noah Lyndall pitched a four-hitter and Dristen Seguera came up with the big hit as the Kelseyville High School junior varsity baseball team beat Fort Bragg 5-3 in a North Central League I game on Tuesday in Kelseyville.
Seguera”s one-out, two-run single in the bottom of the sixth inning snapped a 3-all tie and lift the Knights to their fifth league win in nine games. They are 6-11 overall.
“We played good defense behind Noah,” Kelseyville coach Scott Conrad said.
Lyndall struck out three and walked five during his complete-game effort.
Andrew Vonwal went 2-for-3 to lead the Knights at the plate.
In a league game on April 26, Kelseyville dropped a 10-7 decision to the visiting Cloverdale Eagles.
Simbhava Baird went 3-for-4 with a double and triple for Kelseyville, Brandon Huber went 2-for-4 with two RBIs, and Vonwal went 2-for-4.
Losing pitcher Nick Pfann worked 4 2/3 innings, allowing four earned runs.
The Knights are back in action today at Middletown.
