CALISTOGA — Jared Wade pitched three innings in relief for the win and also drove in two runs as Upper Lake closed out its season with a 5-3 victory over Calistoga in North Central League II varsity baseball action at Calistoga.
Upper Lake (4-6 league, 6-10 overall) scored twice in the top of the sixth to break a 3-3 tie.
Scott Menan”s RBI fielder”s choice put Upper Lake ahead to stay at 4-3 and Ryan Kitchens walked with the bases loaded to make it 5-3.
Jeremiah Swaney went 1-for-3 with a double for the Cougars.
