CALISTOGA — The Upper Lake High softball team wrapped up the season with a 5-2 loss to the Calistoga Wildcats in North Central League II softball action on Friday in Calistoga.
Sierra Fugate and went 2-for-3 with a RBI for the Cougars, who finish up at 3-5 in the NCL II standings and 5-9 overall. Losing pitcher Janae Swaney went the distance, allowing just four hits, striking out five and walking five.
Calistoga grabbed a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first and never looked back.
Upper Lake lost 17-3 on Tuesday at home to Tomales. Skylar Orozco went 2-for-3.
