SACRAMENTO — Lake County wines will be featured at an event to be held on May 25 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the California Automobile Museum, located at 2200 Front Street, Sacramento.
The Lake County Winegrape Commission will host the “Wine, Tunes & Classics,” a Lake County wine tasting, in conjunction with the 40th anniversary of the Sacramento Music Festival.
Food-and-wine pairings will be provided by Chic Le Chef and music will be provided by the LC Diamonds. The museum”s antique and classic car displays will be featured.
Admission price for the wine tasting is $40 per person. A special $50 combo ticket includes the Lake County wine tasting event plus a ticket for same-day admission to the Sacramento Music Festival.
Attendees will receive an educational tasting booklet with information about the wines, the pairings, and several recipes.
“Lake County wineries are thrilled to be sharing their wines in Sacramento along with other ?tastes” of Lake County that include tasty bites and fun tunes by talented Lake County individuals,” Lake County Winegrape Commission President Debra Sommerfield said.
“We”re excited to be able to offer a combo ticket that allows attendees to enjoy our tasting event and the Sacramento Music Festival,” Sommerfield added.
Many of the festival venues are within walking distance of the California Automobile Museum.
