LAKEPORT — The Lake County Board of Supervisors (BOS) will spend Tuesday morning talking about several employee positions and receiving updates on key recurring issues, including invasive mussels and the Lakeside Heights landslide.

The regular BOS meeting will convene at 9 a.m. at the Lake County Courthouse.

The supervisors will present a proclamation designating this as Public Works Week at 9:10 a.m.

The BOS will consider at 9:15 a.m. whether to support proposed federal legislation aiming to amend the ban on importation and exportation of mussels to include quagga mussels.

At 9:20 a.m., county staff will present a status report on the Lakeside Heights landslide and share recommendations for continued response at the North Lakeport subdivision.

The supervisors will interview applicants for treasurer-tax collector in open session, beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Non-timed items will include discussions on the employee structure of the library department, a state bill that would require the use of non-lead ammunition when taking wildlife in California, the information technology director”s request for family medical leave and a letter regarding the allocation of Proposition 39 funds.
