CLEARLAKE OAKS — A motorcyclist died after a head-on collision near Catholic Church Road Wednesday night.
Another person sustained major injuries and was transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital via REACH helicopter, and two others were transported to Sutter Lakeside Hospital in Lakeport for minor to moderate injuries, said Cpt. Dave Emmel, of the Northshore Fire Protection District.
The crash involved a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a white Scion, and occurred on Highway 20 just before 9 p.m. The crash also sparked a small wildland fire that was quickly contained.
CAL FIRE, Northshore Fire, California Highway Patrol and Lake County Sheriff”s Office personnel responded to the scene, Emmel said.
The incident is under investigation.
