LAKE COUNTY — Surveyors called the front desk of a resort along Soda Bay after making a grisly discovery in Clear Lake.
Lake County Sheriff”s Office (LCSO), medics and a dive team responded to a report of a man”s body in the lake at about 1 p.m. Monday.
Tom Farr Jr. was working at the front desk of the Clear Lake Vista Resort located at 6190 Soda Bay Road in Kelseyville, when the surveyors called asking him to contact the LCSO. The surveyors told the LCSO the body was in the southwest leg of Clear Lake.
LCSO officials confirmed Tuesday the body of a man was removed from the Boren Bega area. Farr said the body was retrieved somewhere around Konocti Bay.
The man is in his late ”20s or early ”30s. His identity has not been released pending notification to next of kin.
The cause of death has not yet been released and information about this incident will be updated as it becomes available.
