LAKEPORT ? The Lake County Chamber has set up an online calendar for business, organizations and clubs to add children”s activities.
The chamber has a Kid”s Corner calendar located on its website, www.lakecochamber.com.
To post an entry, click on the calendar tab and press “Submit your Event.” There is a pull down menu that gives the choice of Community Calendar, Chamber Calendar or Kid”s Corner.
When entering the information, people are asked to include the day, time, and contact person and phone numbers in the listing.
The chamber will display flyers of the activity/event in its office for the public to pick up.
Activities sought for the calendar include bowling, horseback riding lessons and camps, sail board and kayaking lessons, volleyball, soccer camps, arts and craft activities, reading programs and any other children”s activities for this summer.
