LAKE COUNTY ? Dillon Ramsey and Katlyn Mintel plan to marry June 15.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Lester Mintel of Florida and Michelle and Jay Roofener of Clearlake. The groom-to-be is the son of Derek and Bonnie Ramsey of Lower Lake.
The couple met in high school. Ramsey graduated from Lower Lake High School in 2011, where he signed up for the Marine Corps. Immediately following graduation, he left for San Diego for boot camp. He then went to Pensacola, Fla. for his school training in Air Traffic Control. Ramsey is stationed in Beaufort, S.C. where he is a Lance Corporal.
Mintel will graduate from Lower Lake High School on June 7. After the wedding the couple will make their home in South Carolina.
