The Save Our Seniors campaign to limit mobile home rent increases in Lake County has gotten off to a great start. Thanks to a dedicated team of volunteers, after only three weeks of signature collecting in Lakeport alone we have reached a third of the necessary total to qualify for the ballot.
In the coming weeks we plan to extend our efforts to Kelseyville and Clearlake.
Signature gatherers will be out on weekends at Safeway, Grocery Outlet and farmers markets. Volunteers are still welcome. Contact Heather Powers at 263-3580 for more information and details.
