LOWER LAKE ? Anderson Marsh State Historic Park holds monthly guided nature walks, followed by a tour of the historic Ranch House Museum, on the second Saturday of the month. The next walk is scheduled for June 8.

Led by park docents Gae Henry and Henry Bornstein, the walk will start on the Marsh Trail and loop around back to the Ranch House, ending via the Cache Creek trail which includes a boardwalk over some of the riparian ox-bows near the creek.

Walkers may bring binoculars and are asked to meet in front of the Ranch House at 8:15 a.m. The walk will begin at 8:30 a.m. A tour of the historic Ranch House Museum begins immediately after. If rain cancels the walk, the ranch tour will begin at 8:30 a.m.

Anderson Marsh State Historic Park is located on Highway 53, between Lower Lake and Clearlake. For more information about the walks, email info@andersonmarsh.org or call 995-2658. For more information about the park, visit www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=483.
