LAKE COUNTY — Road construction projects in Lucerne and Riviera Heights will cause closures in the coming weeks, the Lake County Department of Public Works announced.
Bridges located on Victoria Street and Kensington Way in Lucerne will be closed through July 31 for construction. Construction hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, but the bridges will be closed to all traffic 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Detours are in place.
A pavement improvement project in the Riviera Heights subdivision starting June 17 will cause a series of road closures through July 12.
Construction hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, and road closures will vary from day to day (see schedule below). Emergency vehicles will have access, if needed, but all other traffic will have to use alternate routes through the subdivision.
