LAKE COUNTY — The Summer Food Program, sponsored by the Butte County Office of Migrant Education and administered by the Migrant Education”s Region 2 office in Santa Rosa, will offer free meals and snacks to children 18 and younger at four Lake County locations this summer.
Breakfasts and lunches will be available at Terrace Middle School in Lakeport beginning Thursday. Three schools in Kelseyville will begin serving meals and snacks on July 2.
All children are welcome during posted serving times. No preregistration or documentation is required. All meals must be eaten on site.
The following schools are participating in the program:
Terrace Middle School, 250 Lange St., Lakeport. Phone: 262-3028. Dates: June 13-July 12 (except for July 4-5). Breakfast: 7:45 to 8:15 a.m. Lunch: 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Riviera Elementary School, 10505 Fairway Drive, Kelseyville. Phone: 277-6050. Dates: July 2-July 31 (except for July 4-5). Snack: 10 to 10:15 a.m. Lunch: 12:30-1 p.m.
Kelseyville High, 5480 Main Street, Kelseyville. Phone: 279-4923. Dates: July 2-July 31. Breakfast: 9:50 to 10 a.m. Lunch: 12:15 to 12:30 p.m.
