
KELSEYVILLE -A single-vehicle rollover sent two men to the hospital via air ambulance with major injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). A third man received minor injuries in the crash that occurred at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
The CHP said alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the crash.
Ivan Vasquez, 23, of Kelseyville said he was a passenger in the gold four-door sedan that rolled on Highland Springs and Rodello roads, about three miles up from Highway 29. A 24-year-old man was the driver, according to Vasquez. An 18-year-old, was the designated sober driver, but Vasquez said the 24-year-old insisted on driving. The group was coming from TJ”s in Lakeport heading to a tournament at Highland Springs, Vasquez told the reporter on scene.
