CLEAR LAKE — The Park Study Club and The Art House Gallery in Clearlake are sponsoring the second annual Clearlake Art on Parade raffle. Proceeds will go to Park Study Club”s scholarship funds and leadership training programs.
The prizes are 12 pelicans crafted from sign board by artists. Tickets are $5 each or three for $10.
The pelicans, which come in two different sizes, are numbered, so after viewing photographs of the art at one of nine Clearlake locations selling the raffle tickets, participants can indicate on the back of their tickets (next to their phone number) which pelican they would prefer to win.
Pelicans can be viewed and tickets are available until the Aug. 16 gala from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Art House Gallery, where the winning tickets will be drawn at 7:45 p.m.
The Clearlake businesses that will be selling raffle tickets and displaying the art are Lisa”s Size 3-60 Ladies Apparel, 14290 Olympic Drive; Kevin Ness Jewelers, 14114 Lakeshore Drive; Tatonka Trading, 14240 Lakeshore Drive; Griffin”s Furniture, 14409 Lakeshore Drive; Shearwood Forest Salon, 14822 Lakeshore Drive; and The Art House Gallery, 15210 Lakeshore Drive.
Viewing of the pelican art is available at the City of Clearlake, 14050 Lakeshore Drive, and the Main Street Bar and Grill, 14084 Lakeshore Drive.
The artists who created the pelicans are Bill Koerlin, Rachael Hall, Bernadette Straub, T.J. Acemetrics, Linda Fielding,?Sherry Harris, Jack Cornell, Lacey Baumer, Shanon Taylor, Mary McGregor, Walter Dreis and Pamela Waage.
