LAKE COUNTY — Girl Scouts of Northern California will host its summer “Girls Go Tech” (GGT) program for those entering kindergarten through fifth grade in the fall.
Participants meet once a week for six weeks beginning the week of June 24 at five different locations in Lake County.
GGT is a program to empower girls through increased confidence in science, technology, engineering and math.??
On Mondays at the Kelseyville Senior Center, sessions for kindergarteners and first-graders are from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. and for second- through fifth-graders, from noon to 1 p.m.
On Tuesdays in Middletown, two age groups meet at the Middletown Library, kindergarteners and first-graders gathering from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. and second- through fifth-graders meeting from 3 to 4 p.m.
On Tuesdays in Clearlake, kindergarteners through fifth-graders meet at the Redbud Library from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
Wednesdays are when the GGT program visits the Lakeport Lagoons for two sessions ? kindergarteners and first-graders meeting from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. and second- through fifth-graders meeting from noon to 1 p.m.
On Fridays in Lower Lake, the GGT meetings are from 10:30 a.m. to noon in the activity room at the park.
