LAKEPORT — I read the article about the LCSO wanting the county to pay for a years supply of coffee. I have a suggestion, why not let their union pay for it. The union will pay out money for political campaigns at the drop of a hat if it benefits them, benefit your employees with coffee not our tax dollars.
This is like paying the IRS employees $70 million in bonuses after paying for almost $50 million for line dances, extravagant parties and conferences, on our dime.
Ask anyone in the Tea Party if the IRS did an over the top job for them to deserve a bonus?
I have nothing against law enforcement or their performance, but this just seems petty to me.
