LAKE COUNTY — The Lake County Wine Association (LCWA) will host the ninth annual Lake County Wine Adventure on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The two-day passport event will offer fine wine, art, food, music and other festivities at 32 participating locations.
Wine enthusiasts are invited to visit participating wineries, meet their winemakers and proprietors and sample award-winning wines.
Tickets cost $45 and can be purchased on the day of the event at participating locations.
Each ticket includes two days of activities and entitles the holder to wine tasting and hors d”oeuvres, a logo wine glass and a wine bag. Ticket holders will also have a chance to view exhibits and entertainment at each winery.
Event goers who submit their stamped passport to the LCWA will be entered into a raffle drawing for one of a dozen Lake County vacation packages and a grand prize featuring a cellar collection of Lake County”s finest wines.
Event organizers encourage all participants to hire or designate a driver. Designated drivers are invited to have non-alcoholic drinks, food and entertainment free-of-charge at each site.
