LAKEPORT — The Lakeport Elks Lodge No. 2704 will hold a Purple Pig Luau on Aug. 10 from noon until 6 p.m.
This is a fundraiser that will benefit the Major Projects of California and Hawaiian Elks.
Events will include a hula contest, hula hoop contest, purple pig races and a Lucky Lei contest.
The menu will include Kalua Pork, teriyaki chicken skewers, Lomi Lomi Salmon, roasted yams, rice, Hawaiian rolls, coconut pudding and pineapple upside down cake.
Tickets cost $18 for adults and $9 for children. The event is open to the public.
