CLEARLAKE — Clearlake police and Lake County probation officials arrested 10 people in a special enforcement operation conducted Thursday, according to authorities.

The joint operation focused on nine locations where individuals on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) were residing, according to Sgt. Tim Hobbs of the Clearlake Police Department.

Five individuals on PRCS were arrested on parole violations and drug charges. Robert Jones, 43, of Clearlake on possession of a controlled substance; Dustin Kirk, 22, of Clearlake on being under the influence of a controlled substance; Charles Tesconi, 24 of Clearlake Park, on being under the influence of a controlled substance; Tori Brannon, 41 of Clearlake, on being under the influence of a controlled substance; and Samantha Cova, 45 of Clearlake, for possession of a controlled substance.

Five individuals who were not on PRCS were also arrested: Ashley Jackson, 21, and Brian Potter, 45, for being under the influence of a controlled substance; Jason Buck, 43, for an outstanding warrant; Genet Shatto, 46, for possession of drug paraphernalia; and Mariah Tucker, 21, for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

PRCS is a program in which convicts in overcrowded state prisons are released to the jurisdiction of local agencies.
