LAKEPORT — The Lakeside Family Fun Center will host activities for all ages.
Starting today, “The Voice” karaoke contest, hosted by D.J. Ken Steely, will be held in Charley”s Clubhouse, inside the fun center, every Friday through Aug. 23. Sign-ups will begin at 7:30 p.m. with the contest starting at 8 p.m. The winner of the contest will receive 20 percent of the bar sales.
The center is also holding a free-of-charge, four-week bowling class to learn or get a refresher course on the sport. The classes start Sunday at 2 p.m. Classes last 90 minutes.
A clothing swap will be held on Aug. 16 starting at 5 p.m. in Charley”s Clubhouse. Bring an item to swap for another for all ages and sizes. Additional items may be purchased at $2 a piece.
Additional activities include, open mic at 7:30 p.m. on Mondays, a dart tournament on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. and a pool tournament on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. Lakeside Family Fun Center is located at 872 Lakeport Blvd. in Lakeport. For information, call 263-4828.
