COUNTY PARK — Tina Daskam”s sacrifice fly tied the game at 11-11 in the bottom of the seventh and Marci Psalmonds followed with a RBI single to left-center field to win it as Cobb Mountain Golf rallied to beat Palms 12-11 to close out a perfect women”s softball league regular season at 12-0 on Tuesday evening at County Park.
Palms grabbed an 11-10 lead in the top of the seventh on consecutive hits by Carol Dellinger, Julie Kelley, Savannah Dekeyser and Tammy Alakszay.
Daskam went 3-for-4 to lead Cobb Mountain while Amanda Espinoza, Jenn Scheel, Heather Wurm and Vanessa Tullos had two hits apiece.
Dekeyser went 4-for-4 to lead Palms.
The Palms play the Masters Batters today for the right to meet Cobb in a best-of-three playoff beginning Tuesday.
