CLEARLAKE OAKS — It is true that the death of Trayvon Martin is a horrendous tragedy, however Mr. Knutsen states that Mr. Martin instigated the confrontation.
I do not know where Mr. Knutsen gets his information from, because from the beginning of the first newscast about this incident, the reporters stated that Zimmerman called 9-1-1 repeatedly and was told by the dispatcher several times to let the authorities handle it. I do not know about anyone else, but for myself, if I”m followed by someone and I”m not sure of their intentions, it scares me.
I do not profess to know the circumstances of that horrific night other than a young man with no more than candy and soda was killed. Maybe, if Zimmerman had heeded to what he was told by the authorities, Trayvon Martin might still be alive. As far as Zimmerman”s injuries go, he is still breathing and not behind bars where he should be.
You will notice that I do not refer to Zimmerman as Mr. because for Mr. is a sign of respect. How can you respect someone that has no regard for another person”s life? Mr. Knutsen refers to the “ultimate” judge, if this referral is to God, then Mr. Knutsen should know that we all will be held accountable for our deeds.
