LAKE COUNTY — Twice As Good, who will perform at the Lakeport Summer Concert Series on Friday, has been nominated for two Indian Summer Music Awards (ISMA), according to Paul Steward.

The Indian Summer Festival of Milwaukee, Wis., a music and cultural festival, presents the ISMA, an awards ceremony that recognizes music releases by Native American artists.

The father and son Pomo Indian music duo”s most recent CD, “Back to Clearlake Oaks,” has two award nominations; one for the song “Good Evening, Good Night” in the Blues Category; and one for the song “Samba Dos Indios” in the Latin Indigenous Category, Steward stated.

The duo will attend and perform at the festival on Sept. 7.
