LAKEPORT — I have read a couple of letters suggesting the opinions of Ms. Dems are invalid and perhaps Lake County is not the place to express them.
I am a third-generation Lake County native and while I had a few issues with Ms. Dems column, “Where is justice,” I agreed with most of it.
Like Mr. Valdez, I served my country in combat in 1968.
When I joined the Army, I took an oath to protect the Constitution, which includes freedom to express an opinion different than my own.
I think Ms. Dems will do just fine here. We”ll learn from her and she”ll learn from us.
