LAKEPORT — On Saturday at 10:43 p.m. four Lakeport Police Department units, assisted by four Lake County Sheriff”s Office units, were dispatched to the Clearlake Club on North Main Street to investigate the report of 30 people involved in a physical fight.
Officers located people outside the bar fighting and challenging each other to fight.
There were large crowds of people in the area who were hostile and interfering with police efforts to take control of the situation, according to Lakeport Police Chief Brad Rasmussen.
Three people were immediately arrested on charges of fighting or challenging another to fight in a public place. They were identified as Timothy Fredrico Navarro, 30, of Lakeport, Jeremy Dale Treadaway, 26, of Lakeport and Marcos Gonzalez, 25, of Kelseyville. After they were secured in police vehicles, officers continued to remain on scene to monitor the crowd and restore order.
Officers again located numerous people reportedly being hostile and saw a man, James Lee Kollenborn, 56, of Redwood Valley challenging others.
Officers attempted to detain him, but he resisted arrest and continued being hostile, according to police reports. Additional officers assisted and he was taken into custody. Kollenborn was charged with challenging another to fight and resisting, delaying and obstructing officers in the performance of their duties. During Kollenborn”s arrest, Jami Renee White, 29, of Kelseyville was interfering and was arrested on charges of public intoxication. Remaining people loitering in the area were advised to disperse. Officers remained on scene for approximately 45 minutes until the area was clear.
