UPPER LAKE — Upper Lake”s varsity girls” soccer team battled the Clear Lake junior varsity squad to a 2-2 draw in non-league action on Wednesday afternoon at Upper Lake High School.
Amelia Perry scored both of the Cardinals” goals – one in each half – as Clear Lake improved to 0-1-1
“Our defense played well and the midfielders moved the ball to the forwards with numerous shots on goal,” Clear Lake coach Tommy Burke said.
Clear Lake standouts included sweeper Rose Cerda and right wing Jessica Beall, according to Burke.
