FORT BRAGG — Amelia Perry scored twice in the second half to lift the Clear Lake High School junior varsity girls” soccer team to a 2-0 North Central League I win over the Fort Bragg Timberwolves on Wednesday in Fort Bragg.
“The girls played a great game,” Clear Lake coach Tommy Burke said.
Clear Lake standouts were forward Taylor Powers, center-mid Shannyn Magana, center-mid Shyanne Chapin, sweeper Rosa Cerda and fullback Ariana Valadez.
The Cardinals return to action Monday at home against Fort Bragg at 4:30 p.m.
