
LAKEPORT — Kelcie Reynolds scored twice and assisted on three other goals as Clear Lake”s offense broke out with a 10-1 North Central League I win over the visiting Willits Wolverines on Thursday afternoon in varsity girls” soccer action.
Madison Wynacht had a hat trick (three goals) and Emily Hayes and Taylor Helms added two goals apiece as the Cardinals improved to 1-1 in league and 3-3 overall.
“We raised our level of play, definitely,” Clear Lake coach Paul Larrea said. “We really played well up front.”
Mina Werner”s passes to the front helped kick-start the offense, according to Larrea.
“She fed the forwards and set the tone for us,” Larrea said.
Stopper Adriana Guardado anchored the solid play of the Clear Lake defense.
Hannah Norwood contributed one goal and one assist.
