LAKE COUNTY ? South Lake County Fire Protection District is looking for Paid Call Firefighters.
This is a part-time year-round job that requires continuous involvement within the organization including twice monthly training and one association meeting per month as well as responding to local and statewide emergencies. Interested candidates must live within the fire district boundaries, pass a rigorous physical agility test, Pass a background investigation, an oral interview then complete a five month twice a week evening training academy.
Applications can be picked up at the main station 60 at 21095 Highway 175 in Middletown. The deadline is Oct. 21.
