KELSEYVILLE — Several teachers, staff and administrators from the Kelseyville Unified School District will be participating in its first “The Biggest Loser” event during the month of October.
Different teams made up of five members will be competing to see who can lose the most weight, body fat, and inches, starting on Oct. 1 and ending on Oct. 29. All teams are putting up $125 per team and the winning team gets to decide to which school group or community group they would like the total collected to be donated.
The first meeting will take place on Oct. 1, for the weigh-in and measurements. After that there will be weekly get-togethers to workout and motivate each other. The final meeting on Oct. 29 will be the day to re-weigh and measure to determine which team wins.
