UPPER LAKE — A new youth wrestling club in Lake County, the Junior Cougars, begins practicing on Oct. 1 at the Upper Lake High School wrestling room. Practices are Tuesday through Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. each day.
Junior Cougars is open to wrestlers currently in kindergarten through eighth grade. You must join USA Wrestling ($40 membership fee). The club fee is an additional $50. You can sign up at Healthy Habits, 9440 Main St. in Upper Lake, on Thursday or on Sept. 26 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
