LAKE COUNTY — The Eastlake Landfill, located at 16015 Davis Ave in Clearlake, and the Public Services Department, located at 333 Second St. in Lakeport, will be closed Monday in observance of the Columbus Day holiday, Lake County Public Service Director Caroline C. Chavez stated. Residential pickup will be on its regular scheduled day. Both facilities will re-open on Tuesday.
Normal operating hours at the landfill are 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. The Public Services office is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
