Art Carson, whose letter “Poignant Memory from Konocti,” you published in September, must be a writer. If not, he sure missed his calling. I tear up every time I run his letter over my mind. When I dry up, I always think of a cartoon I read many years ago in “The New Yorker.” A man and his wife were visiting with another couple, and the man was saying to his wife, “I did not cry my eyes out! I just teared up a little and that was it!”
The other three were looking at the man as thought they didn”t know what in the world he was talking about. Thank you, Art Carson.
