I have been a member of the Sutter Wellness Center for almost five years.
The classes offered are taught by excellent teachers and are well attended. I was shocked to get a letter stating it would be closed to the community as of Nov. 30.
Many members of the Wellness Center supported fundraisers to build the Mobility Park. We felt we were part of the Sutter family. If it is a fiscal problem, why were not the membership prices raised and drop-in prices increased? Sometimes doing what is best for the community outweighs a money-saving plan. Their slogan is “We Plus You.” Now it can be “We Minus You.”
