LAKEPORT — The Lake Family Resource Center (LFRC) is raising Domestic Violence Awareness throughout the month of October. The next event this month will be a candlelight vigil in Lakeport tonight at 7 p.m.
The vigil is held each year to raise awareness of domestic violence, recognize those who have made a difference in the fight against domestic violence and remember those who have died as a result of domestic violence.
Candles will be lit in Lakeport Library Park. The public is encouraged to come out and hear guest speakers talk about domestic violence. Candles and refreshments will be provided.
