A 1-percent increase all at one time, that”s too much.
What have you people been doing for 15 years? Somebody needs to take an all-American smart pill.
A one-fourth percent amounts to about $35,000 a year for code enforcement. That doesn”t fix roads. Put all the money for roads.
The locals are going to pay for the majority of these, not out-of-towners.
This is like giving money to a homeless person on the street, food or booze, you never see them again, until the next time, like Measure J in 2012.
