KELSEYVILLE — The Kelseyville Knights are just a win away from securing some share of the North Central League I varsity volleyball championship after beating the Lower Lake Trojans 25-10, 25-14, 25-20 on Tuesday night in Kelseyville.
Kelseyville (11-1) needs to win one of its final two matches — tonight against Clear Lake in Lakeport or Thursday in Willits — to secure no worse than a tie for the championship. “They”re very excited,” McCallister said of the prospect of winning a league championship. “They have a lot to look forward to.”

Brooke Taliaferro”s four kills led the Trojans (2-11) and Zobee Miller had three.
“Jeannie just tore my back row up,” Lower Lake coach Niki Doud said. “She hits the ball hard from wherever she is on the floor. I think my girls are afraid of her.”
