LAKEPORT — A fundraiser was held on Saturday at the Elks Lodge in Lakeport for Ronnie Dekeyser IV. The fundraiser hosted about 200 people and featured tri-tip dinners, raffles and a silent auction.
On Wednesday, Ronnie and his family were presented a check for $8,370 from the Elks Lodge. The money will go to the family to help with anything they need to help fulfill Ronnie”s wish list. Ronnie likes dirt bike riding, camping and fishing, NASCAR racing and monster trucks. He wants to go on a hot air balloon ride, ride the Skunk Train, go to Chuck E. Cheese and go ocean fishing. Ronnie is an 11-year-old boy who is battling brain cancer. He is the son to Ron Dekeyser Sr. and Jennifer Hittson.
