CLEARLAKE ? A Lucerne man was arrested and charged with vehicle theft, burglary and possession of stolen property Tuesday.
While conducting follow-up investigations at 11:10 a.m., Clearlake Police Department (CPD) detectives Ryan Peterson and Travis Lenz saw a suspicious vehicle in the area of the 1,500 block of Polk Street in Clearlake, according to CPD Sgt. Nick Bennett. A check of the vehicle license plate showed it had recently been reported stolen from Lucerne.
The vehicle was pulled over and the driver, identified as Raymon Narvaes of Lucerne, was taken into custody, Bennett stated.
In addition to the vehicle, several stolen items from the burglary were reportedly recovered as well as other items that may link Narvaes, 30, to other thefts.
He was booked into the Lake County Hill Road Correctional Facility.
The report was sent to the Lake County Sheriff”s Office for additional investigation.
