I would like to offer possible solutions to a couple of problems we are presently faced with.
First- blue-green algae. Simple fix: make it illegal to smoke, possess, process or sell. What the Fogheads don”t harvest will be eliminated when the knee-jerk reaction of the idiots in Sacramento and D.C. Will be to allocate millions of dollars for eradication. Problem solved!
Second: Prison overcrowding. We have too many convicts serving life terms who could be doing something productive rather than sitting in their cells watching Dr. Phil. My idea; remember chain gangs? Simply chain them in pairs and have them pick up trash along roadsides ? in Afghanistan and Iraq. The Lakeside Heights fiasco can be likened to trying to rebuild a sinking ship to save the sail.
Just shut the water off and abandon the entire project. Better it serve as a reminder of unscrupulous contractors and less-than-thorough inspections then to dump millions of tax dollars into it. Glad I could help.
