LAKE COUNTY — Lake Co-op announced the addition of three new product lines.

The new products include micro and baby-greens from Lifefood Gardens. Traditional tea imports from TeaCos and skin care, home and lifestyle products from Zoe”s Organics.

Another new addition is an organic farm, Ron and Bibiana Love Farms in Lakeport.

Katy Pomelov of Lifefood Gardens provides Lake Co-op customers products in the baby greens category, sprouted legumes and blends of micro-greens, according to JoAnn Saccato, chair of Lake Co-op.

Her micro-greens include broccoli, mild brassica, spicy salad and purple mixes. Adzuki, green peas, mung bean, mixed bean and a lentil mix blend provide a variety of sprouted legumes. Pomelov also uses a sun-dried sea salt solution that allows the greens to take up trace minerals that are not found in regularly watered greens.

Lake Co-op Owner and Worker Rachel Pries started a virtual tea shop on Lake Co-op website and is in the process of opening a tea shop in Lucerne. Customers can now purchase organic and specialty tea imports, filters and mugs, Saccato.

Heather Hamilton of Zoe Organics creates skincare, home and lifestyle products using 100-percent certified organic ingredients, including organic beeswax.

Ron and Bibiana Love moved their farm from Healdsburg to Scotts Valley earlier this year. Their organic offerings include the array of summer crops including specialty and heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, kale, onions, specialty beans, egg plant, carrots, melons, apples, beets and fresh herbs. Products can be found online and every week on the Lake Co-op”s overage table.

The overage table is where the public can purchase the products that have not been pre-sold through Lake Co-op”s website and include many offerings from local, regional and out-of-area farms.

Shoppers can find olive oils, breads, dried mushrooms, wheat, flour, regional beans and rice, sea veggies, teas, oranges, bananas, ginger, garlic, onions, potatoes and local seasonal offerings.

The overage table is open on Thursdays from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at 307 N. Main St. in Lakeport.
