LAKEPORT — The Clear Lake Trowel and Trellis Garden Club (CLTTGC) will hold a fundraiser for its annual scholarship and projects.

Funds will be raised from holiday wreaths made and sold by members of the group.

Profits made will help fund the group”s annual scholarship as well as its civic beautification projects.

Projects include the Ely Stage Stop, maintaining the round planters at Library Park and the Blue Star Memorial that honors the Armed Forces.

The wreaths will be made from fresh greenery grown by garden club members.

The wreaths will be made the first week of December at the Bachelor Valley Grange in Upper Lake.

Potential members and interested parties are invited to help.

Wreaths can be purchased for a cost of $20. Deadline for placing orders is Tuesday.

The CLTTGC meets at noon on the third Tuesday of every month ? except in July and August ? at the Scotts Valley Clubhouse.

The clubhouse is located at 2298 Hendricks Road in Lakeport.

Anyone interested in gardening and civic beautification and philanthropic projects is invited to attend.

The CLTTGC is a member of the Mendo-Lake District, California Garden Club Inc., Pacific Region and National Garden Clubs Inc.
