LAKE COUNTY — It takes $25 to give a child a book each month for one year and the Lake County Literacy Task Force wants to get books in the hands of children as early as possible.
This gift of literacy writes a lasting page in the book of literacy for each recipient.
The Imagination Library, coordinated by the Lake County Literacy Task Force, sends a challenge and a request to Lake County to add a page to the book of Literacy for Lake County”s youngest residents.
Donations will provide an annual membership into the Imagination Library Program for children infant to 4 years old who live in Lake County.
Gather up co-workers and friends and write a page in the book being written to ensure that all children have books in their home and literacy in their lives.
Gift cards commemorating donation ?in honor” of a special person and tax deductible donation receipts will be mailed to all donors.
