It might be a great idea to put on the next ballot a list of new taxes that would be used specifically for a needed improvement that would benefit all the counties citizens.
This would let voters have a direct say in where their tax money was spent, show how close a project would need in votes to get passage, and allow the voters a way to promote projects that they feel are important to their daily lives.
It would beat have only a few parties and citizens representatives deciding what is needed to improve the living standards of local residence.
